The Maui Ocean Center is welcoming six new residents.

The aquarium is now home to six baby green sea turtles.

They were born in July at Sea Life Park on Oahu and they weigh a little more than 3 pounds.

Sea Life Park is home to a colony of adult Hawaiian green sea turtles who give birth to 200 to 800 hatchlings a year.

Most are released into the wild, while some are part of the Hawaiian green sea turtle education loan program.
